Movie of the Week: The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh by Sergio Martino (1970)

The Movie of the Week features the lovely Edwige Fenech who appeared in many of Martino's Italian thrillers which were known as Giallo. This style of film was very popular in Europe durning the early 70's. They featured groovey soundtracks, beautiful women, and crazy psychotic killers, whose identity was never revealed until the very end. The maestro of this genre was Mario Bava with his classic, Blood and Black Lace from 1964. Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci directed classic Giallos as well like Deep Red and A Lizard in A Woman's Skin. However, it is my opinion that Ms. Fenech is the queen of the Giallos! Enjoy one of her best...
